                                                                    Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, was founded in 1913 by 22 dynamic women, who                 

                                                                    envisioned and shared the epitome of true sisterhood, scholarship, service and social action. As a

                                                                    sorority rooted in Christian principles, our Founders laid the foundation and legacy for their

                                                                   unprecedented work of serving others and assisting those in need. 

 

                                                                   Our chapter was established on April 20, 1949 by eight dynamic young women as the Delta Alpha

                                                                   Sigma Chapter.  In 1956, as a result of the nomenclature revision, our chapter became Pensacola 

                                                                   Alumnae Chapter.

 

                                                                    I am humbled and grateful for the opportunity to serve as President of Pensacola Alumnae Chapter,

                                                                    Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, 2021-2023! We take pride in diligently serving our

                                                                    community in alignment with promoting the goals and objectives of our sorority’s Five-Point

                                                                    Programmatic Thrust: Educational Development, Economic Development, International Awareness

                                                                    and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement. 

 

Pensacola Alumnae Chapter is comprised of a group of extraordinary women who are achieving extraordinary positive outcomes! We take pride in working together to level up on the issues that affect our children, elderly, and everyone within our community and surrounding areas. 

 

As laborers of change, Pensacola Alumnae Chapter will continue to make positive things happen in the esteemed legacy of our 22 Founders! I extend an enthusiastic welcome to Sorors in our chapter area to come and join us!
